About the role
As Business / Branch Manager, you will be responsible for leading the branch’s sales, operational and people performance.
You will drive activity across existing and new customer opportunities, maintain strong local relationships, and ensure the branch operates with clear expectations, accountability and commercial discipline.
This role requires someone who can balance sales growth with hands-on branch execution. You will need to be comfortable working with the team day to day, staying close to customer needs, and using branch performance data to keep activity focused and outcomes on track.
Key responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for:
Driving branch sales performance across existing and new customer opportunities
Identifying, pursuing and converting new business to grow revenue and local market presence
Leading customer engagement, account relationships and local networking
Owning branch profitability, including sales, margin, mix, cost control and commercial outcomes
Creating a strong sales culture with clear expectations, accountability and follow-through
Coaching and developing team members to lift capability, confidence and customer effectiveness
Maintaining high operational standards across service, safety, warehouse coordination and branch presentation
Using branch data, activity and performance metrics to drive focus, action and continuous improvement
